VANESSA ORELLANA, MD

Dr. Vanessa Orellana Villazón is a Bolivian pediatrician and public health researcher with academic and professional experience in Bolivia, Mexico, Spain, Germany, the United States, and the Netherlands. Her work focuses on child and adolescent health, person-centered care, health equity, and medical education. Key aspects of her career include:

Research and Academic Work: She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Her research explores how healthcare professionals can better involve patients and families in decisions about their health and care.
